Upon arriving at La Quinta By Wyndham Corpus Christi - Portland, I was greeted by a friendly staff providing their signature Here for You service, making me feel right at home. the room was spacious and clean, equipped with all the essentials like a refrigerator, microwave, and flat-screen HDTV. the complimentary Manager's Reception on weekday evenings was a nice touch, offering free drinks and a chance to unwind after a long day of exploring. While my room didn't have the sofa as advertised, the bed was comfortable, and the AC blew ice cold, ensuring a good night's sleep. the hotel's proximity to both Corpus Christi and Port Aransas made it a convenient base for my excursions, and the free WiFi and breakfast were much appreciated.
